September 2026 ∙ The Wedding Roundtable concept is a tried-and-tested one as Cotswolds Concierge has been bringing its wedding members together around the table for several years, creating a friendly and supportive community where businesses can talk openly, share experiences, learn from one another, and build genuine friendships in the industry.
Now, in September 2026, that same concept is coming to Worcestershire for the very first time. The Worcestershire Weddings Roundtable is a new monthly get-together created especially for Worcestershire Concierge member businesses working within the wedding industry, bringing venues, photographers, florists, cake makers, celebrants, stylists, entertainers, planners, content creators, and all the other brilliant people who make Worcestershire weddings happen together around one table.
Same relaxed format, same focus on collaboration over competition, just a brand-new community for Worcestershire. The idea is simple: collaboration over competition, friendship in business, and a place where people can talk properly.

The Worcestershire Weddings Roundtable isn’t designed to be another traditional networking event. There are no elevator pitches, no passing business cards around the table because you feel you ought to, and no pressure to sell yourself to the person sitting next to you. Instead, it’s a chance to sit down with other people who understand the realities of working in the wedding industry in your area and have the conversations that don’t always happen at larger networking events.
It might be about what’s happening in the local wedding market, dealing with a particularly busy season, marketing, pricing, enquiries, difficult situations, changing trends, or simply something that’s been on someone’s mind that month. Some conversations will be practical, some will be about business, and others may have absolutely nothing to do with either. That’s rather the point.

The Roundtable is intended to be a space where members can be open about both the good bits and the more challenging parts of running a wedding business. There is a huge amount of knowledge and experience within Worcestershire’s wedding community, and bringing that knowledge together gives everyone an opportunity to learn from one another.
Someone who has been in the industry for twenty years might have exactly the advice a newer business needs. Equally, somebody relatively new to weddings might bring a completely different perspective or an idea that gets everyone else around the table thinking. Nobody has all the answers, and nobody needs to.
It’s about being able to ask questions, share experiences, swap ideas, celebrate the wins, talk through the tricky bits, and know that what’s shared around the table is met with understanding rather than judgement.

Perhaps most importantly, the Worcestershire Weddings Roundtable is about moving away from the idea that businesses in the same sector automatically have to be rivals. Two photographers can help each other. Two venues can recommend one another. Florists can share knowledge. Celebrants can swap experiences. Businesses can collaborate, refer work, offer advice, and still run successful businesses of their own.
There is plenty to be gained from knowing the people who work alongside you in the same industry, including those who technically do the same thing you do. When people are generous with their knowledge and genuinely want to see others succeed, it strengthens the wider wedding community too.

There is another side to the Roundtable that’s every bit as important as the business conversations: making friends in business.
Running a small business can occasionally be a lonely old job, particularly in an industry as busy and demanding as weddings. Having a group of people who understand the pressures, celebrate the successes, offer advice when it’s needed, and are simply good company can make a huge difference. That’s the community the Worcestershire Weddings Roundtable hopes to build.
The first ever Worcestershire Weddings Roundtable takes place in September 2026, marking the beginning of a new monthly gathering for Cotswolds Concierge’s wedding members in Worcestershire and, hopefully, plenty of conversations, collaborations, friendships, and good things to come.
