Brockencote Hall: A fabulous Worcestershire venue

There are some venues that simply know how to do events well, and Brockencote Hall is very firmly one of them. Set in the Worcestershire countryside at Chaddesley Corbett, near Kidderminster, the beautiful country house hotel combines impressive surroundings with lovely event spaces, award-winning food, and, perhaps most importantly, a team who know how to make people feel welcome.

From weddings and milestone celebrations to private dining, meetings, conferences, and business events, Brockencote Hall is undoubtedly one of the most fabulous event venues in Worcestershire. And it’s exactly the sort of place we love introducing people to through Club Worcestershire.

∙ A BEAUTIFUL WORCESTERSHIRE SETTING ∙

Part of the Eden Hotel Collection, Brockencote Hall is an elegant Victorian country house surrounded by peaceful Worcestershire countryside. There’s a lovely sense of occasion as soon as you arrive, but it never feels overly formal. That combination makes it particularly good for events. It’s beautiful enough for the biggest celebrations, while still feeling relaxed and welcoming enough for smaller gatherings, meetings, dinners, and get-togethers.

The hotel offers a choice of rooms and event spaces, meaning events can be shaped around the number of guests and the atmosphere you’re looking to create.

∙ WEDDINGS AT BROCKENCOTE HALL ∙

It’s very easy to understand why Brockencote Hall has become such a popular Worcestershire wedding venue. The French-inspired architecture, landscaped grounds, terrace, croquet lawns, countryside views, and lovingly restored dovecote provide a beautiful backdrop for the day, while inside there are several different spaces for ceremonies and celebrations.

And there is plenty of flexibility. Smaller ceremonies can take place in spaces including the Heron Room, Swan Room, and Library, while the Malvern Room and Chaddesley Room allow for larger celebrations. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies, offers exclusive-use options, has its own in-house catering, and can accommodate up to 90 guests for dining and 140 for an evening celebration.

Brockencote also hosts only one wedding each day, allowing the team to concentrate on that particular couple and their guests. Whether you’re planning something intimate or taking over the house for a much bigger occasion, the approach is very much about creating a wedding that feels personal rather than simply putting couples through a standard formula.

∙ MUCH MORE THAN A WEDDING VENUE ∙

While weddings are naturally a big part of life at Brockencote, this is very much an events venue in the wider sense too. Private dining, birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, Christmas parties, corporate dinners, meetings, conferences, and team events can all find a home here. And that versatility is one of the things that makes Brockencote particularly interesting for Worcestershire businesses.

An event here can be as simple as getting a smaller group together around a table, or it can become a much bigger occasion incorporating food, drinks, meeting space, overnight accommodation, and time to enjoy the grounds. Having everything in one place makes Brockencote particularly well suited to those events where you want people to spend proper time together rather than simply arrive for a meeting and disappear again afterwards.

∙ FOOD IS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE ∙

Of course, a fabulous setting only gets an event venue so far. The food, drinks, service, and people looking after everyone are what guests tend to remember afterwards. Brockencote is home to 3 AA Rosette dining, and food plays an important role across the hotel, from weddings and private dining to celebrations and events.

That means an event here can be as much about gathering around a table as it is about the event itself, something that feels particularly fitting for the way we like to do things at Club Worcestershire.

∙ MEET STACI ∙

And then there’s Staci Williams. Anyone who has organised an event knows that the person behind the venue can make an enormous difference, and Brockencote Hall’s Wedding and Events Manager, Staci, knows the venue and the world of events inside out. She has been responsible for helping couples plan and deliver weddings at Brockencote, working behind the scenes to bring together all those details that make an occasion run smoothly.

We’re delighted that when Club Worcestershire comes to Brockencote Hall, Staci will be our host. And we think it’s going to be a particularly lovely opportunity for Worcestershire businesses to experience Brockencote as an events venue for themselves, rather than simply reading about what it can offer.

∙ CLUB WORCESTERSHIRE AT BROCKENCOTE HALL ∙

Club Worcestershire is all about bringing Worcestershire businesses together in brilliant Worcestershire venues, so Brockencote Hall feels like a very natural home for one of our get-togethers. There’ll be no speeches, no awkward elevator pitches, and no complicated networking format. Just a relaxed couple of hours meeting people, catching up with familiar faces, making new connections, and discovering another fantastic Worcestershire business along the way.

And with Staci and the Brockencote team looking after us, we know we’ll be in very good hands. Because while the surroundings at Brockencote Hall are undeniably beautiful, what really makes a great event venue is how people feel when they’re there. And Brockencote is very, very good at making people feel welcome.
